Human brain models are absolutelyfantastic, but there is one major problem with them -- They tend to rolloff your desk when you are trying to study.  So, if you need to freeyour hands while studying brain anatomy, or, if you are just looking fora marvelous paper weight related to the brain sciences, we have the answer!

The "Mental Block" is a 2 1/2" cubethat has accurate representative sections of the human brain taken in thecoronal and transverse planes.  The highly detailed line drawingsin each section contain numerous labeled regions, as described below. The Mental Block is perfectly sized so that you can carry it in a backpackand bring it to lecture.

 The block's faces contain sectionsor views that are representative for the planes of section.  Altogether, there are 117 labeled structures/areas and three dimensionallabels (anterior dorsal; anterior left; anterior right) on the 6 facesof the Block.  The Block is a great adjunctto 2-dimensional atlases, because students can use the Block to find theirorientation as they study.
