    Screen Shots
    Brainiac! consists of four different modules. These include Gyri, Coronal. Horizontal and Pal-Weigert stained sections -- There are over 50 screens of brain sections.

    Section Map Screens in the Coronal, Horizontal and Pal-Weigert Modules allow you to click on the name of a structure and all the levels that the structure appears at will be highlighted in red. Jump directly to a section by clicking on a number.

    In Review Mode you can click on the name of a structure from a list and the corresponding area will be highlighted on-screen. Or, you can click on an area in the brain section and be shown the name of that structure. Functional Information is available by clicking on the Show Function button.

    In Test Mode Brainiac! will gauge your knowledge. You can have the name of a structure shown to you and you select the brain region, or have the structure shown to youand you pick the name from the list.

    Turn on the Brodman Areas button and view detailed information about Brodman areas in the gyri module.
